Exhausted Creativity was named as such because I wanted to appeal to the stay-at-home-mom. She could relate to my name, being tired and running on fumes. I didn't want to limit myself to just jewelry, so I wanted a name to reflect that, being broad and all-encompassing. I had other reasons for naming my shop Exhausted Creativity...
But the one thing that never crossed my mind was that people might perceive my shop name to be negative. As in spent creativity, like I have nothing left to give. Ugh. Upon hearing that review from some trusted advisors, I immediately felt the need to change my shop name.
Well, by and by, after much thought and consideration about possible names, I ultimately settled on using my own name for the shop. And I don't regret it one bit. I'm selling my goods, made by me - it should have my name on it. So Exhausted Creativity is gone. Rachel Rode, Jewelry for Heart and Soul, is here.
My new url is www.rachelrode.etsy.com. The old shop url will work for a while - about 45 days. After that, you have to use the new url to find me.
I had to change my facebook page as well. It's now http://www.facebook.com/RachelRodeJewelry
My twitter account and this blog url will remain the same.
